Field Service Specialist

Sparta Services is a fast-growing IT Advisory and Solution company. Based in Kirkland, WA serving clients globally.  

 

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Specialist with strong networking expertise to join our Managed Service team. This role involves delivering on-site and/or remote technical support, troubleshooting, and implementing solutions for our customers. You’ll be the face of our company in the field, ensuring exceptional service and reliable technological performance. 

 

Our clients are across the financial, construction, non-profit and community association management industries.  

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide on-site technical support for networking, hardware, and software issues. 

  • Install, configure, and maintain network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls) and related infrastructure. 

  • Perform diagnostics and resolve connectivity issues across LAN/WAN environments. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems. 

  • Document service activities, configurations, and customer interactions accurately. 

  • Educate customers on best practices and preventive maintenance. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Experience: 3+ years in IT field service or networking support within an MSP or similar environment.  

  • Technical Skills:  

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and firewall configurations. 

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and common enterprise networking tools. 

  • Certifications: CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent preferred.  

  • Soft Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills.  

 

Other:  

  • Reliable transportation for travel to client sites (mileage reimbursed). 

  • Ability to lift and install hardware as needed. 

  • Willingness to travel within Utah.
